Crafted by Hand.
Played by Soul.

Every Resonance guitar begins as a single piece of sustainably sourced tonewoods — selected by hand, dried for years, and shaped by luthiers who have devoted their lives to the art of sound.

We believe that an instrument is more than wood and wire. It is the bridge between silence and music, between imagination and expression. Since 1987, we have built guitars for artists who refuse to compromise.

Five Stages of
Pure Craft

01

Wood Selection

Our luthiers travel to certified forests and mills, selecting each plank by tap tone, grain density, and moisture content. Only the top 3% of tonewood stock makes the cut.

02

Body Shaping

Templates passed down through generations guide the first cuts. Each body contour is refined by hand planes and spokeshaves before any power tool approaches the wood.

03

Neck Crafting

The neck is the soul of playability. Carved from a single piece of hard maple or mahogany, each profile is shaped to the hand — then voiced by testing string tension and resonance transfer.

04

Assembly & Binding

Body, neck, and hardware are joined with hide glue and held for 48 hours. Binding channels are cut by hand. No CNC. Every mitre joint is fitted until invisible.

05

Final Setup & Tuning

After finish curing, every guitar receives a complete setup: fret levelling, nut slotting, intonation, and action optimisation. Each instrument is played for a minimum of eight hours before shipping.

Master Craftsmanship

Each instrument passes through the hands of a single luthier from start to finish. No assembly lines. No shortcuts. Every curve, every joint, every fret — placed with intention and decades of knowledge.

Exceptional Tone

Tonewood selection is an art. Our master luthiers tap, flex, and listen to every plank before a single cut is made — ensuring the instrument resonates at its natural frequency for pure, balanced projection.

Lifetime Warranty

We stand behind every instrument we build — forever. Our lifetime warranty covers all structural defects. Because a Resonance guitar is not just a purchase; it is a relationship that spans generations.

Woods That
Shape the Sound

Every species of wood speaks a different tonal language. We work with six primary tonewoods — each chosen for its acoustic character, its beauty, and the story it carries from forest to fingerboard.

Top

Sitka Spruce

Pacific Northwest, North America

Bright · Clear · Dynamic Range

The benchmark tonewood for acoustic tops. Excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio produces articulate highs and powerful projection across all playing styles.

Back & Sides

Mahogany

Central America & Africa

Warm · Focused · Rich Mids

The voice of the blues and folk tradition. Mahogany reinforces the fundamental notes with a warm, punchy midrange that records beautifully.

Fretboard

Indian Rosewood

Southern India

Complex · Lush · Extended Sustain

Dense and oily, rosewood fretboards add complexity to the upper harmonics and a silky playing feel that develops further with age.

Neck

Hard Maple

North America & Canada

Bright · Tight · High Definition

Extremely stable and hard-wearing, maple necks transmit string energy efficiently with a snappy attack that cuts through any mix.

Fretboard Alt.

Gaboon Ebony

West & Central Africa

Articulate · Fast · Glassy

The finest fretboard material available. Exceptional hardness creates a fast, smooth surface. The glassy tone adds brilliant note definition and projection.

Body

Alder

Pacific Northwest, North America

Balanced · Full · Even Response

The classic electric guitar body wood. Alder's even frequency response and light weight make it the ideal canvas for any pickup configuration.

What Musicians
Are Saying

The Obsidian has completely transformed my live sound. There is a warmth and sustain I have never found in any other instrument — at any price point.

Marcus de la Vega
Solo Guitarist · Los Angeles, CA

I have owned guitars three times the price that do not come close. The craftsmanship, the feel, the way it responds to the lightest touch — it is extraordinary.

When I picked up the Ember Acoustic for the first time, I played for four hours without stopping. That has never happened before. It simply speaks to you.
